Thanks for the introduction to Santini. I've long felt that ironically, album covers had more artistic latitude than their corresponding albums. With the albums, there were record deals, expectations, music licensing and production balances to consider. With the album covers, it was a lot more, "I dunno, slap on whatever we think will sell more copies." I greatly enjoyed the work of Hipgnosis back in the day, which has a bit of a surreal bent to it as well.
